Hi! You recently released ‘Got It Bad’ and it’s brilliant. For anyone who’s yet to hear it, how would you describe the track?

I would describe “Got It Bad” as a love-gone-bad, weird, moody, off-beat country song.

Where did you record it?

“Got It Bad” was recorded in a bedroom in Fort Worth, Tx.

Are you planning to make it part of a larger release, such as an EP or album?

My full length album, “Doppelganger” is due to be released January 2023.

I’m very interested in how you started your adventure with music, and did you know from the beginning that this is what you wanted to do?

My love for music started early on, in church, and country music on the radio. By the time I was 15 and listening to punk bands I knew I wanted to lead a band. I knew I wanted to write songs, I always had something to say.

Your music interweaves so many different styles and sounds. If you could collaborate with anyone in the world, who would it be and why?

If I could collaborate with anyone in the world I would have to pick Jack White. First of all, he seems like the chillest rock star. Also, his love of all kinds of music, and music history, is just beautiful and unique. Plus, I love his label Third Man Records.

What’s been your favorite musical experience to date?

I would have to say my favorite musical experience was seeing Bad Brains play in Dallas in 2010. That show rekindled my love for live music.

Where are you based? Can you tell us how the music scene there has inspired your sound at all?

I am based in Fort Worth, Tx. The music history of North Texas has always inspired my dark western vibe. Fort Worth, specifically, has a unique feel. I’m still exploring that influence in my new music. There’s still a kind of final frontier, wild west feeling that runs through the music scene, no matter what genre, there is definitely a Fort Worth sound. I attribute that feeling to the colorful characters and situations in this region’s history.

If you could perform at any venue in the world, where would it be and why?

If I could perform at any venue in the world it would be the Red Rocks in Colorado. I’ve never even been there but some of my favorite bands play there.

And what was the first album you remember owning?

The first album I remember owning was the first Linkin Park album. Good memories listening to that CD on my Playstation system.

Finally, have you got anything to share regarding upcoming gigs, and what have you got planned over the rest of 2022?

We released our second single, “She Turned Into A Shadow” in December. Following that release we are planning shows in January along with another single. Then, our album release party is in the works. We plan to play shows in support of the album while actively working on tracking our next release as a full band.
