Hey, super nice to have the chance to chat with you. What have you been up to over the past year in this big old mess?

I recently moved to Miami Beach and have been working on new material as well as getting some sun.

I’m very interested in how you started your adventure with music, and did you know from the beginning that this is what you wanted to do?

Absolutely knew it. I was digesting any music I could get as a young kid and that carried on into today. I started writing rhymes then switched to Djing and then went back to rhyming and full on into learning how to produce, engineer and run a studio.

Congrats on your new release, ‘1NE (Bedroom Rope)’. Can you give us some insight into it?

It’s about my moms experience with abusing relationships. She went from one bad relationship to the next. That whole scene of adults in my life partied and did drugs so the chorus is telling that story. “don’t matter how much blow you do, it’s how you cope, with a bedroom rope”. You see it now.

What are you doing to ensure you continue to grow and develop as an artist?

I push myself everyday to write down every idea that comes to mind. All those writings get distilled down into lyrics for songs.

What should we expect from your next releases in terms of style and sound? How different are they going to be compared to your previous works?

The next single is called “2WO (Makeup)”. It’s more upbeat tempo wise and has a featured artist on it called Kid Arson. It’s bar centric, meaning it’s more focused on the rapping this time. I end it with singing. Where are you based?

Can you tell us how the music scene there has inspired your sound at all?

I live in Miami Beach by way of Atlanta and Los Angeles. This scene hasn’t influenced anything that’s about to come out, but you can bet it will influence future tracks at some point.

If you could perform at any venue in the world, where would it be and why?

Florence Italy. That is the birthplace of our sound.

Can we expect a new EP or an album from you in the near future?

3 more singles and then the album drops. Hold tight.

Finally, have you got anything to share regarding upcoming gigs, and what have you got planned for the rest of 2023?

No gigs to report as of yet, but there will be a few pop ups here in Miami. The rest of the year sees these singles being dropped and a few more songs finished.
