Hey, super nice to have the chance to chat with you. What have you been up to over the past year in this big old mess?

Hey! Thanks for having me! Honestly most of this past year has been less songwriting and producing and more observing. I was going through a writer’s block for a while and felt I just needed to reset the way I approach writing and production. Late last year, I got back into writing and producing and now I am planning future releases!

I’m very interested in how you started your adventure with music, and did you know from the beginning that this is what you wanted to do?

I’ve always loved music and hoped it could be a path for me. I started by taking classical piano lessons when I was in elementary school and I’ve been hooked since. I love the ability music gives to express yourself and your emotions. Words are hard for me sometimes, so music is really helpful when I need to process something.

Congrats on your new release, ‘Lover’s High’. Can you give us some insight into it?

Thanks! So I actually wrote this two years ago my freshman year of college. There was a lot of change going on and I wasn’t doing the best mentally. It’s a song about feeling addicted to something you know isn’t good for you. The writing process was quick however, the production was not. I went through multiple versions, and scrapped them all until I created the version you can hear today. The production is very different from my other songs, but this song as a whole was unlike anything I’ve ever written as well.

What are you doing to ensure you continue to grow and develop as an artist?

Releasing more music! I already have a plan for my next release. Since I’m doing this all on my own, from the writing, to the production, to the marketing, it takes up a lot of time to promote a release, so I’m just preparing myself for my next single.

What should we expect from your next releases in terms of style and sound? How different are they going to be compared to your previous works?

My upcoming release is my favorite song I’ve created so far. I feel like I’ve finally found my production and writing style and this song feels 100% like me. It’s very emotional, ethereal, electro-pop vibes. I’m super excited to share it.

Where are you based? Can you tell us how the music scene there has inspired your sound at all?

So I originally am from Miami, FL but am currently based in Nashville, TN! The music scene here is legendary and it’s definitely shaped the way I write and produce. Specifically, the pop scene here. I’ve realized there are so many genres within pop to explore and experiment with. I used to be hesitant to call myself  a pop artist, but finding other pop artists in this community has helped me wear that title proudly.

If you could perform at any venue in the world, where would it be and why?

Oh great question. I think a show at the arena in my hometown in Miami would be so cool. I’ve seen so many of my favorite artists perform there, and getting the opportunity to play a show there would be unbelievable. To be honest, any show in my hometown would make me emotional.

Can we expect a new EP or an album from you in the near future?

Not this year, but possibly next year! I have like 2 albums fully written and ready to go, but I don’t want to sacrifice my vision because I don’t have enough time or money. I’m waiting until I have enough resources to make my album exactly how I want it.

Finally, have you got anything to share regarding upcoming gigs, and what have you got planned for 2023?

I’m playing a show next Fall which will be announced later this year! My next single will be dropping in the fall as well! That includes a new music video and a merch drop, so there’s a lot to look forward to. Mostly, I hope that this year, I can establish my artist identity further.
