Hi! You recently released ‘Heart Less’ and it’s brilliant. For anyone who’s yet to hear it, how would you describe the track?

Thank you! “Heart Less” is your next sassy anthem that will give you all the confidence you need to walk away from the wrong person for you.

How would you say it compares to your previous releases?

This single is my favorite by far and it perfectly portrays my personality. This release is also a milestone for me, as it marks my tenth single!

Are you planning to make it part of a larger release, such as an EP or album?

Absolutely! “Heart Less” is the 2nd single release, along with my last single “Hard to Love”, that will be on my debut EP. The release for my EP is set for this summer.

I’m very interested in how you started your adventure with music, and did you know from the beginning that this is what you wanted to do?

My journey in the music industry is a little bit different. I began playing instruments at the age of 4 and went on to pursue singing by age 12. The opera genre is what pulled me in first but by the time I was 15 years old, I had made the switch to country music. I’ve always loved country music, so ultimately, I knew I would end up in that genre.

Your music interweaves so many different styles and sounds. If you could collaborate with anyone in the world, who would it be and why?

I would love to collaborate with Reba McEntire. I love her personality and her style.

What’s the best advice you’ve been given as a musician?

“It takes time.” Success doesn’t happen over night. The faster you climb, the quicker you fall so it’s important to steadily climb to ensure the longevity of success.

Where are you based? Can you tell us how the music scene there has inspired your sound at all?

I am currently based in Montreal but live part-time in Nashville. I can’t say that the Montreal music scene has influenced my music a great deal. However, performing in French as well as in English is important to me to honor my roots.

And what was the first album you remember owning?

That is a great question. I believe it might have been an Amy Grant “Rock of Ages” album.

Finally, have you got anything to share regarding upcoming gigs, and what have you got planned for 2023?

The biggest thing I have planed for 2023 is plenty more adventures in Nashville and the release of my EP. Only time will tell if great opportunities come along the way!
