After being lost for ten years, Under Different Stars sees the debut album release from The Relays, the first two singles of which received airplay from Steve Lamacq and Huw Stephens following live shows for BBC Introducing and XFM’s This Feeling. You Invented Horror features as the band’s fourth single release after As Tears Subside as well as the album’s lead track Diamond which combines the atmospheric sound of the album and a more refined mood with a nod towards future material. Produced by John Kettle (Jaraf House – Wigan, UK).

It’s been a while since a song like The Relays’ “Diamond” has captivated us the way this one has. From the lyrics to the production, this gem packs everything we love about finding new music. It’s fresh, original, and passionately infused with the talent of these unbelievable artists. The new song highlights their powerful and rich vocals and unique writing style, and it’s safe to say we have a lot to look forward to from The Relays in the coming months. In the meantime, we’ll just have to keep “Diamond” on repeat. And don’t forget to connect with the band to stay up-to-date and enjoy!
