Hey, super nice to have the chance to chat with you. What have you been up to over the past year in this big old mess?

Hey, thank you for having me! Last couple of years I’ve evaluated what really matters and works best for me when it comes to writing and producing music. I found out that the studio I had didn’t do it for me anymore. So I moved everything back home and into my bedroom where I created this ongoing creative atmosphere. My piano was always mic’d up and ready to go, so was my main vocal microphone. I felt I could be more spontaneous and capture whatever idea I had going. Once “there” in my new space I began to form the idea for an EP. Some songs were already done or at least half written and some I wrote there.

I’m very interested in how you started your adventure with music, and did you know from the beginning that this is what you wanted to do?

I started playing the guitar when I was ten years old and I think I was around 14 when I started writing songs. And as often as I could I borrowed my dad’s Fostex X-26( an analog cassette multi-track recorder. Yeah I know it was a long time ago) a small mixer and some microphones and started experimenting and recording.

My interest for music and creating has always been strong and somehow I kinda knew “I had it in me” so I just kept going.

Congrats on the release of ‘Never Ending Night’, the EP sounds great. What was the inspiration behind it?

Oh thanks, yeah I’m really excited, it came out great! The songs are about lost love in different ways. The dying last breath of a love story, the fear of commiting, saving yourself and trying to move on. Inspired from my own life and experiences.

What’s your favorite track on the EP and why?

I think Leap Of Faith is the core of the EP and probably my favorite. It sums up the fear of commitment both for ‘her’ and me. It’s like a sad wedding proposal. My other favorite is the last track, and also the title of the EP, Never Ending Night is like the ending of a movie where your love dissolves in the night.

What are you doing to ensure you continue to grow and develop as an artist?

Stay curious I guess but I don’t think about it that much. But maybe I try to narrow my music down a bit style wise since I’ve tried different sounds through the years. And maybe be more honest and direct in my lyrics.

What should we expect from your next releases in terms of style and sound? How different are they going to be compared to your previous works?

I’ve taken a more organic path now I think, so probably more in that vein. But I always strive for the perfect mix of my vocal, live instruments and synths, especially synth arpeggios which I can’t get enough of!

Where are you based? Can you tell us how the music scene there has inspired your sound at all?

I’m based in Stockholm, Sweden. A city full of great songwriters, producers and music studios. I’m not much of a concert goer myself but there’s a great optimistic feel amongst artists and songwriters here that inspires me a lot.

If you could perform at any venue in the world, where would it be and why?

Well actually I’ve hidden myself for too long that any place where I can sing my songs would be a great place. But if I extend that thought a bit I would love to set up a small tour in Sweden and somewhere in Europe. Germany is a great place to play so probably there!

Finally, have you got anything to share regarding upcoming gigs, and what have you got planned for the rest of 2022?
