You recently released ‘The Philosopher’ and it’s brilliant. For anyone who’s yet to hear it, how would you describe the track?

It’s a melancholic ballad giving an honest and meaningful glimpse into my emotional world. The song relives and processes my emotions that I experienced during my school years.

Where did you record it?

I recorded the song together with my buddy in the Pirate studios in Hamburg, Germany.

Are you planning to make it part of a larger release, such as an EP or album?

I would like to record an album at some point, on which the song will certainly appear. But so far only other singles are planned.

I’m very interested in how you started your adventure with music, and did you know from the beginning that this is what you wanted to do?

I started writing songs when I was in school. I was the outsider in my class and found music as a valve to express my emotions.

Your music interweaves so many different styles and sounds. If you could collaborate with anyone in the world, who would it be and why?

I like how Tyler the creator weaves different styles together. So it would probably be him.

What’s been your favorite musical experience to date?

Being able to collaborate with great musicians from all over the world including Europe, USA & Asia.

Where are you based? Can you tell us how the music scene there has inspired your sound at all?

I live in Hamburg, a big city in the north of Germany. Hamburg is a vibrant music city and many of my friends are rappers or singer-songwriters. I wanted to be a rapper until the Beatles and lots of 60s stuff influenced me to do indie pop.

If you could perform at any venue in the world, where would it be and why?

Probably Teatro Antico di Taormina in Italy. I love the old Roman buildings and the view there is just majestic.

And what was the first album you remember owning?

I think it was The Slim Shady LP by Eminem

Finally, have you got anything to share regarding upcoming gigs, and what have you got planned for 2023?

I don’t have any gigs planned this year. From late summer I will release more singles and next year hopefully my album will be ready.
